Trejo's Donuts was absolutely worth the wait! I've wanted to visit for years, and it completely lived up to the hype. The donuts are not only delicious but also so creative--each one is a little piece of art. From the classic flavors to the fun, unique options, everything I tried was fresh and perfectly made. The shop itself has a cool vibe, with great decor that ties into the Trejo brand, and the staff was super friendly. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back just to try everything on the menu. If you've been thinking about stopping by, don't wait as long as I did--you won't regret it!

Love the donuts here! They're light and fluffy with a nice slightly chewy texture with fantastic toppings- the chocolate raised -Abuelita and the Berry (think jelly but FAR BETTER) with its sweet berry glaze, filled with a delicious fruit jam and topped with berries- I wish I had bought more than one! If you like donuts you will definitely want to stop in for a treat or two!

The donuts are absolutely amazing! Unique flavors, beautifully decorated, and delicious! My favorite was the mangonada. Not too sweet, full of flavor, and left me wanting more. I've never had a donut like it! There were other unique flavors like horchata, Mexican hot chocolate, and fruit pebbles. Some flavors are daily staples and others change daily to keep it interesting. The lady behind the counter was friendly and answered questions we had. It's a small donut shop with limited parking, but that was expected in Hollywood. We came in the afternoon just before closing, so some options were sold out. I'll definitely come earlier next time. This is my new go to donut shop when we have out of town guests. I can't wait to go back!

Wowowowow. These donuts are crazy good. Love the bold colors and cool designs of everything. I got the staff's choice half dozen of the vegan donuts and they were all so tasty. The coconut one was probably my favorite, but the berry was great too. I'm also a cinnamon girl at heart, so I got two of those... they were all amazing though. So soft and pillowy! I got a black coffee and was really impressed. So smooth, with chocolatey notes. I regret not buying a pack of the coffee beans. Shoutout Danny Trejo, man's a legend. Parking lots kinda small so we parked across the street at the Walgreens where the security guard said "Aye you can't park here." "But I'll let you tho, you cool" I offered him donuts but he declined. 5/5

Just look for the hot pink donut shop on the corner. Amazing donuts. Try the horchata donut...or the abuelita (very popular). The pineapple fritter that I ordered today is sweet, moist and with a light glaze. I think it might have caramelized pineapple from the taste. Amazing. They rotate flavors and there's always something different. A little pricey but top notch donuts. Very courteous service and they have a small counter inside with 5 stools if you decide to eat in. Lots of coffee drinks and freshly made horchata, of course.

Cozy pink Coffee & Donut shop on Highland Avenue & Santa Monica Blvd worth the stop. Trejo's C&D has a pretty cool assortment of donuts including several vegan ones, great decor and an easy layout. The cold brew is solid. Options for hot or cold bevs including teas, lattes, espresso, cappuccino, and a variety of roasts, syrups, plus milks with serval non-dairy selects (like oat and almond) The service is prompt, personal and efficient. I will say they do a ton of pickup and delivery (third party app) orders as people were in and out in a flash while I enjoyed the vegan Berry. Their vegan Cinnamon Crumb is next on my list. I do wish they had the Pineapple Fritter or a Fritter available in the vegan style of their donuts as those tend to be a favorite. At Trejo's you can do Coffee Travelers, various Dozens and Breakfast Burritos. Not to mention purchase a variety of merch, plus they can do catering. Parking is a shared lot directly behind them with Everytable, Subway and a lot of eateries. You can find some metered street parking as well. Tall table inside (I believe with stools), but not much room - also city bus benched in front for LA Metro. I was on the go to an event at the LGBT center around the corner from here so it was perfect to just grab and go. Happy I stopped in and definitely will again soon.

On our recent trip to Los Angeles, we tried this place finally whilst exploring Hollywood and found the doughnuts outstanding. It's a small place with limited seating, mostly to take away doughnuts and coffee. However, it has nice decor, and the seating, though limited, has good views right out the window. Overall, we found they did an excellent job on both the classic and inventive types. The doughnuts had a good fried taste, nice texture and dough. They did not go overboard on the interesting versions and kept the elements balanced and complementing, rather than overpowering, the actual doughnut. We got the Margarita, a raised doughnut with lime glaze, lime zest, and salt. It was excellent, the lime and salt noticeable but not overly strong or overly sour, balancing the sweetness and the fried dough. 5 stars. The OG, basic raised glazed was also excellent, although not the best I have had. I would gladly get it again. 4.5 stars. I also got the raised chocolate - also and excellent example of the style. Coffee was good basic doughnut coffee, nothing outstanding but it went well with the doughnuts. Service was good and very friendly. We'll gladly go here again next time we're in the Hollywood area.
